PQQ

PQQ, also known as pyrantetrol quinoline quinone, is a vitamin-like compound with a strong antioxidant effect. Its chemical structure is C14H6N2O8, and it has the following physical and chemical properties: the melting point is 181-183°C, and it is a white to yellow crystalline solid; PQQ has a low solubility in water, about 0.5 mg/mL at room temperature, but it can be well dissolved in some organic solvents;

PQQ is a strong oxidant that can react with some reducing agents and participate in redox reactions; PQQ is relatively stable under acidic and neutral conditions, but decomposes under strong alkaline conditions.
